AI transparency notice

How the AI interview assesses you, and the rights you have over that assessment.

What the AI does

XpressApply runs a structured voice interview, scores your answers against the rubric for the role, and produces a scorecard that we use for matching. This is an automated assessment of a person. A human did not listen to your interview before the score was created, so we treat the result as a starting point and not a final decision.

How we keep it fair

Every candidate for a role family answers against the same rubric, and the interview is recorded so the assessment can be reviewed as evidence. We assess job relevant language on the CEFR scale and do not penalise your accent. We do not make a decision on CV keywords alone, and the same interview is re-scored against each role so one conversation can count toward many openings.

Your rights

You can see your status at any time and ask for a human to review any automated assessment. You can also export your data or delete your account. If a human review changes the outcome, the new result replaces the automated one in your record.

Data and retention

Recordings and transcripts are kept as evidence on a retention schedule so that an assessment can be checked if you ask for a review. After the schedule ends they are deleted. You do not have to wait for the schedule to request deletion of your own data.

You can always ask a person to take a second look.

If you think an automated assessment got something wrong, request a human review and we will look at it again. You can also read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.
